Plant Pots

The 2 ways I pour coloured concrete to craft unique patterns. Have a read below to learn more!

To create each pot I pour the wet concrete mixture into silicone molds. The concrete mixture then sets in molds for up to 48hrs before being ready to be unmolded. Once out of the molds, I wet sand each plant pot and then place them on shelves to cure. Once cured, the plant pots go through a multi step sealing process and finished with 4x small protective rubber feet placed on the bottoms of each plant pot.

Time consuming craft process creating bespoke plant pots that are different - in a good way!

While this method is one of my favourite ways to create multi coloured concrete plant pots, it also requires a lot more time to create each plant pot. Along with the extended time between letting each layer of concrete set before pouring the next layer, the wet sanding process also demands more time and effort to bring through the various layers of colours.

There is a small price increase for the textured style of plant pots to reflect the additional time and skill required in creating these special one of a kind plant pots.

Constantly experimenting with creating one of kind multi coloured plant pots by pouring every colour 'all in one go'. Unlike the defined lines in my textured plant pots, pouring all the colours at the same time creates a soft, blended look between each colour and often gives results similar to a 'tie dye' effect.
